It is now planned to release a trial version at the end of the third quarter. And for the mass market, the product will be available in late 2023 or early 2024, a Kommersant source notes.

The experiment itself has been carried out since March. The Ministry of Digital Development offered to spend 1.3 billion rubles on the repository. The funds are supposed to be allocated from the Rosinfokominvest fund to the Russian Fund for the Development of Internet Technologies.

He, in turn, will send money to ANO Open Source, this structure will develop the terms of reference for the repository, the sources say.

As the Ministry of Digital Development clarifies, not only the organizations on the list participate in the project. Those on the list “assumed additional obligations.”
