Apple officially launchedDailyIt’s a new iPhone app that aims to help users reflect and practice gratitude through a journal, which has been shown to increase well-being, according to the company.
Apple says that with Journal, users can capture and write about daily moments and special events in their lives, creating rich memories by adding photos, videos, audio recordings, locations and more.
Plus, thanks to machine learning, the device offers specific, personalized recommendations to inspire journal entries.
The Journal and Journaling Suggestions API became available with iOS 17.2.

“We’re excited to bring the benefits of journaling to more people,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of worldwide product marketing. “Journal makes it easy to create rich, powerful memories and express gratitude by intelligently organizing personal user information right from your iPhone.. “We’re also making it possible for other diary apps to offer the same personalized recommendations while keeping privacy at the highest level,” he added.
With this tool, you can also review the content you are interested in and add a news article, music or podcast from other applications, include them in the application and write about it.
Users can browse past posts, mark them as favorites, or filter details like photos, workouts, locations, and more.
To access it, simply update your iPhone operating system to the latest version, iOS 17.2.
