In recent weeks, app developers have developed tools to protect the privacy of these conversations. Currently this instant messaging service offers the option to generate a code or fingerprint. fingerprint so that only the owner of the mobile phone can access them.
In this way, it will also prevent you from receiving notifications of certain chats that you do not want to appear when you are with your friends, family or partner.

– In case of Android, you must enter the Chat you want to block and click on the three dots.
– Then select the Block chat option.
– Here you will be given the option to create a secret code To block all the chats you want or using the fingerprint block if you want.

– On iOS, you can press and hold the Chat you want to block for a few seconds.
– There will be some options including blocking chat.
– There will be a message informing you that the Chat in question will be blocked using Face ID.
To review any of the blocked chats, you will need to go to the blocked chats folder or to unlock you must swipe the chat and select ‘unlock’.
This way, this will be the only way to access your secret chats via Face ID on iOS or a secret code on Android.
Note that the secret code you create must be different from the code you use to unlock the mobile phone or the entire WhatsApp application.
