Freeform, Apple’s partner app for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Apple’s Freeform app has great potential, but has not yet become one of the indispensable applications for iPhone, iPad and Mac users. Perhaps that is why Apple decided to introduce a very interesting innovation to the real-time digital collaboration whiteboard.

Freeform’s new feature will be called “Scenes” and will allow iPhone, iPad, and Mac users to select specific sections or scenes of their whiteboards for more convenient and enjoyable navigation.

These scenes will be available for users to return to at any time after exploring other areas of the Freeform app. They can also be changed or edited at any time. Real-time collaboration will also be part of the new Freeform Scenes.

Additionally, Apple has added a number of keyboard settings for Freeform Scenes:

  • Castle: Shift + Command + S
  • New Scene: Option + Command + ]
  • Previous Scene: Option + Command + [
