IN NoviceThe Force is a big theme. But beyond that, the show is about those who are sensitive to its influence and how that particular ability can become the defining element in the battle against good and evil. The story of Osha and May (Amandla Stenberg in a dual role) is, generally speaking,Understanding how the mysterious energy that binds living beings together in the Star Wars universe works.
While one of the twins decided to explore his abilities and serve the light side, the other was consumed by hatred and resentment. This means that together they are an expression of the same idea. A point that connects the production with the fundamental elements of the franchise. In particular, heThe concept that George Lucas conveyed about the feelings of loyalty and betrayal of ideals through his main characters.
However, no one has been able to show the duality of the Force in all its expansion like Quimir/Stranger (Manny Jacinto). Novice. What started out as Mei’s apparent comrade and accomplice eventually revealed his true identity. Namely, a Sith Lord of special powers. Or at least that’s what he hinted at in an ambiguous conversation with Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae). What’s clear is, is that this Force-sensitive belongs to the dark side and will use his abilities for destruction.

Long story

Kwimir’s actions and brutality link him to a long line of Force wielders who have been drawn to the dark dimension of power. In fact, the history of the Sith is almost as old as the history of the Jedi, as shown in NoviceBefore they established a structured order and discovered that universal energy could be used for evil, the sentient beings who would later become the Sith thrived on Korriban, the only planet orbiting the Horuset system. This isolation allowed this special race to grow stronger and remain hidden for thousands of years.
As a society and culture, the Sith began to organize themselves around 130,000 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin). By 28,000 BBY, the first king of the people, Adas, had come to power. Known for his leadership abilities, he united the various factions that had been fighting each other on Korriban. The Emperor ruled for centuries after the invasion of the planet by the Rakata, members of the Infinite Empire. Although this is not directly shown in Novice.

In the midst of the disputes and tensions, it became clear that the Rakata intended to enslave the Sith people, so Adas stood against them, dying in his efforts. But the long series of battles left an important moment for posterity. The Sith learned to use the knowledge of the holocrons and star maps of the invaders. This opened the possibility of their presence spreading to the rest of the Universe.
Following Adas’s death, Korriban was plunged into a brutal civil war, leaving the world devastated. So, the surviving Sith relocated to Ziost. Their homeworld was left behind as a tribute to those who had fallen in the midst of the fighting. By 25,000 BBY, the Galactic Republic had begun to form. This meant that on Tython, scientists, scholars, warriors, and religious people came together to deal with the recent discovery of an anomalous energy field. An element unknown until then, which would later be called the Force.
Dark Lords Take the Stage

By this time, the vast and increasingly complex debates on Tython about energy had come to an end. There was a light side, then called Ashla, and a dark and dangerous side, Bogan. Some delegations, including the Sith Lords of Ziost, insisted on the possibility of using the dark dimension of the Force. But this was opposed by those who wanted to learn only the most benevolent. This led to the Tythonian Force Wars. The winners of this conflict will be known in the future as the Jedi Order. For now, the losers, like the Sith.

Later, the relationships between Force-sensitives became more complicated. In 24,500 BBY, the Jedi Xendor embraced the dark side and, along with a large group of his students, created the Legions of Lettow. This caused the First Great Schism between the Jedi and a large-scale confrontation. This would mean constant hostility between both Force-sensitive factions.

This confrontation would end with Xendor dead and his legions captured. But in the midst of the conflict, a renegade Jedi managed to pass on his knowledge – a mixture of what he had learned from the Order and his own skills – to all the survivors. This gave way to Force-sensitive individuals with a penchant for violence, resentment, and greed. With the Jedi’s iron control over their monopoly on energy abilities broken, a new breed of being emerged, one with extraordinary powers. The Sith Order was born.
