Although What if…? Winderbaum Says Cartoon Series Won’t Continue After Season 3 I’ll say goodbye in a big wayAccording to the executive director, future episodes will further explore the concept of the multiverse and complete the character of the Watcher, who was originally voiced by Jeffrey Wright.
“It feels like the end of a trilogy. [La tercera temporada] “It’s going to take us to unexpected places. It’s going to go further than the first two seasons in terms of exploring the multiverse. What Marvel didn’t mention was whether there would be an ending. What if…? This is the cancellation itself, or if this animated series was originally conceived with an estimated duration of no more than three seasons. The production was a kind of experiment which allowed us to explore alternative scenarios involving characters and situations from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Also of great interest is the fact that many of the Marvel Studios film performers have voiced animated versions of their characters. Some of the most high-profile cases include Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter/Captain Carter), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa/Black Panther).
What if..? In fact, it was the last Marvel Studios project Boseman worked on before his death. For his work on the animated series, the American actor received a posthumous Emmy Award in 2022.

In late December last year, Marvel released the first trailer for the upcoming episodes, which focused quite a bit on Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier) and Alexei Shostakov (Red Guardian).
