These films were intended to scare their audiences as much as possible, using the paranoid terror of shape-shifting aliens who want to destroy the human race. as the central point of their plot.
However, it’s true that they’re slowly moving over to the science fiction side until new ones come to major platforms or cinemas. They take back that creepy aspect that makes your hair stand on end. Some more than others, yes.

Destruction (2018)
Destruction is unusually scary. After Lena’s husband Kane goes missing, he and a few others go to an area called Shimmer. hoping to find it and learn more about this strange, beautiful but dangerous place. Spoiler alert: It’s not going well.
It’s a sparkling, simply surprising place, and this movie is a good fit for that. fans looking for a different perspective on a foreign movie. Annihilation does not leave a single detail untouched and creates a completely different world with its own rules.
Unfortunately, despite what could be a classic sci-fi horror movie, it didn’t do as well at the box office as expected. However, if you want to try it, you can do it from the comfort of your home on Netflix.
Alien, eighth passenger (1979)
This classic and legendary movie is exactly what its name suggests: aliens with some suspense and fear. Alien will introduce us to the space crew aboard the Nostromo commercial tug. During their time in space, they meet a strange, very hungry alien who has been released on the ship and wants to hunt them down.
Ridley Scott’s 1979 movie Alien might not be the first alien movie, but it probably is. that puts this alien horror subgenre on the map.
Of course, we are ahead of the queen of all films of this subgenre. And it is with Sigourney Weaver that this masterpiece evolves into an iconic title character, Ellen Ripley. Worth seeing at least once in your life.
This is the only movie we will add to this list because it doesn’t look too heavy, but the sequels deserve to be watched.

A Quiet Place (2018)
These two films, starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, are set in a post-apocalyptic world where alien creatures descend to Earth completely blind, but have a keen sense of hearing, since the sequel has already been released. if they hear you, you will die instantly.
Both one and the other are considered great pieces of current cinema. And it highlights an incredible sound design made to perfection, pulling you into those moments of tension that will make you jump out of your seat.
Both movies can be viewed on Prime Video. It is also expected to be the third.
War of the Worlds (2005)

A huge capsule surrounded by twelve will try to communicate with our race, and our heroes will try to understand them. because they will be entrusted with the impossible task of deciphering an encrypted speech.

Extinction (2018)
This Netflix Original Movie It puts an interesting spin on alien invasion movies. Our hero in this story, Michael Peña, will play a family man who has some pretty dark premonitions that aliens are taking over Earth shortly before it actually happens.
When sinister alien beings arrive and begin to destroy the human race, he begins to wonder if these strange visions are the solution to the big problem at hand.

Signs (2002)
Directed by the great M. Night Shyamalan and starring, among others, Mel Gibson, Joaquin Phoenix, Abigail Breslin, and Rory Culkin. This movie follows a family who find mysterious circles on their farm. With that I’m sure it sounds like you.
And the whole plot will unfold in this idyllic retreat. manifestation of these terrible circles, it seems, is happening all over the worldIt sows complete paranoia. Graham’s children will believe they are aliens and the rest of the family will think it’s a joke. However, no one knows why.
As more and more strange events occur, they’ll realize that something really big is coming and it’s probably not going to be anything friendly.
