Netflix just released the trailer for Mr.it’s about the documentary about the father of Robert Downey Jr.also a showman, who directed some of the most iconic American comedies of the 1960s and 1970s.

Here’s the trailer of Sr., the documentary about the life of Robert Downey Sr.

In the docufilm we see father and son in comparison, in a series of situations that will lead the two to reminisce about their turbulent lives. This is the description provided by Netflix:

Like father Like Son. Sr. is a portrait of maverick director Robert Downey Sr., which soon turns into a meditation on art, morality and healing generation dysfunctions.

Robert Downey Sr. was one of the American directors of the 1960s and 1970s who most marked experimental and counter-culture cinema, breaking the barriers of censorship. His most famous cult film is the comedy Putney Swope. Robert Downey Sr. was also an actor and starred in To Live and Die in Los Angeles, Magnolia and The Twilight Zone.

The documentary Sr. is directed by Chris Smith (who previously worked on American Movie and Fyre) and will be released on Netflix on December 2.
