20th century studios And hulu they are working on a reboot de the society of extraordinary men After the 2003 film, we are going back to work on a film production dedicated to the characters from the Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill comics.

Justin Haythe (Revolutionary Road) will script the reboot project on The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, then Susan Montford and for 3 Arts Entertainment, Erwin Stoff will co-produce with Don. Murphy, who also produced the first feature film.

The original story is set in an alternate Victorian era and features fantastic characters on a secret mission. Among them, we can mention Captain Nemo, Dorian Gray and Tom Sawyer. Comics were introduced in 1999 and Stephen Norrington later took charge of the project starring Sean Connery.

Over the years, we’ve tried several times to do a project for the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, including an all-female reboot that never got started. This time around, though, it looks like 20th Century Studios’ interest in the project is quite significant.
