The South Korean company Fineday presented on Kickstarter a project of a mechanical Bluetooth keyboard Fineday 3.0 in the format of a typewriter. It is easy to use a computer on Windows/Mac OS, plan on a smartphone on iOS/Android. It turns out that these gadgets can be installed in the place where a paper sheet is usually inserted into a typewriter.

The body of Fineday 3.0 is made of aluminum alloy. The characters engraved on them are guaranteed not to be erased, like the letters on a regular keyboard. The retro style keyboards, in fact, have a fair amount of modern Cherry MX Blue LED backlit switches, pretty much reproducing the already orderly forgotten clicky typewriter sounds.

In addition to the keys, Fineday 3.0 has three more parts from the old retro cars – round steering wheels located on the right and left, with the help of which the roller with a sheet of paper scrolled and the carriage return lever. True, in normal mode, the left knob is the LED backlight gain control, the right setting of the level of the new connected device, and the lever is an additional “key” for entry / return.

This Kickstarter campaign is also available in Fineday 3.0 from the manufacturer, i.e. the best budget and for $1100 in black, dark blue or dark green.
