An IT platform developed in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is now used to digitize education in the Republic of the Congo. Ugra Governor Natalya Komarova shared this news at the XIV International Informatics Forum held in Khanty-Mansiysk. The Education of Ugra platform combines all learning processes, including pre-school, school and further education, in a single knowledge space. The system is already working successfully in Ugra, where it is used by more than 636,000 users, including students and parents.
The governor also said that the Yuğra Education Informatics platform has already started to attract the attention of foreign partners. A project has been launched in the Democratic Republic of Congo for the digital transformation of education and the creation of a similar platform with e-journal and e-diary services, based on the Yugra experience. The governor noted that artificial intelligence systems are actively being introduced in Ugra, especially in regions where there is a shortage of specialists and routine operations. For example, the region has a “Search” system that recognizes illegal information on the network.
The forum also brought up the issues of cyber security and the development of artificial intelligence. The Governor drew attention to the establishment of the Center for Cyber Security, which is engaged in the protection of health and social institutions in Yugra. The center performs automatic blocking of attacks based on IP address, analysis of the security level of information sources and determination of possible risks. In addition, efforts are underway to establish a recommendation system for responding to computer attacks using artificial intelligence.
XIV International Informatics Forum, attended by BRICS and SCO countries, takes place in Khanty-Mansiysk. The forum includes the main topics of discussion on the digital transformation of the economy, import independence, cyber security, the development of artificial intelligence and human resources. The Forum brought together representatives from 45 countries and 75 subjects of the Russian Federation.
