The company’s main focus is on the device’s software, which, according to Nothing’s creative software director Mladen Heuss, will resemble the work of the Google Pixel.
Heuss mentioned that Nothing Phone 2’s home screen will display “what’s just for you” and your information and interests will be “at a glance”.
It’s reminiscent of the “at a glance” feature in the Google Pixel program that shows important contextual information throughout the day, such as the weather and upcoming appointments or events.
While Heuss didn’t elaborate, he hinted that the software on the Nothing Phone 2 would be “easier to use at a glance” and more “informative.”
The new smartphone is expected to offer its own approach to functionality, but the inspiration from the Google Pixel will certainly not be superfluous.
