The contract was signed on May 25 and the execution date is shown as March 12, 2024. According to Forbes, Rostelecom is the sole supplier of the project.

The system being developed by GRCHTS includes the National DDoS Countermeasure System, a coordination center and software development for technical tools against threats.

Last year, GRFC had already tested the system using IP address blocking and DPI technology.

It is planned to create a spine protection system that is resistant to attacks aimed at “blocking the channel”. However, additional technologies such as Web Application Firewall (WAF) are required to better protect against “application attacks.”
