Unlike its unfortunate predecessor, iTunes Ping, Apple Music is “simple and convenient.” The platform allows you to subscribe to your friends, watch their public playlists and tracks you’ve been listening to recently. This makes it easy for you to find new music based on the tastes of people you know.
Of course privacy is also a priority, and users can choose to keep their profile private or selectively share playlists. Apple Music’s social features may not have the same excitement around them. But as a nice addition to listening to music – that’s all.
