Google is preparing to redesign the look of its payment app, Google Wallet, or Google Wallet. The new version reduces white space areas and changes the size and position of some icons to make better use of the screen, making the app more compact and clear..
One of the most notable changes is the change in the NFC symbol. Currently appears to be quite large and animated on saved cards. With the new look, the symbol goes under the cards in a greatly reduced size and with the name of the bank.
The cards themselves also get a subtle change. The redesigned app makes the card display slightly smaller, providing space to see the shading of the next saved card below the currently displayed card.
Google accelerates for more wallet functions
Images of the updated Google Wallet skin come from 9to5Google, which claims these changes appear in version 2,193.x of the app. The site estimates that the Android owner is looking for a more compact vision for the payment app due to the increased number of functions.
Google Wallet will contain personal documents, passes, and even digital car keys, in addition to your cards, airline tickets, and proof of vaccination. It’s important to make good use of screen space to show a lot of stuff.
As version 2.193.x of Google Wallet has not yet been widely distributed, we do not know when it will be available to all users.
