Transportation of such machines was launched in Elektrostal, the route is determined by the operating engineer. During the test period, the cars cover a distance of 2.5 km.

As the company explained, in a first stage, the use of unmanned trucks can double the speed of movement of goods in the warehouse. In the future, this will shorten delivery lines to customers.

Now such an electric truck transports more than 50 thousand units of various products, including large-sized products. The machine can carry two tons of cargo.

Once the tests are finished, this practice can be extended to the transport of goods between various logistics centers of the company. Wildberries is also exploring the possibility of entering the main unmanned transport.

In June the first unmanned KAMAZ trucks were launched on the M-11 federal highway.
