Russia has launched another dating app, beAmore. The main difference, according to founder Vlad Vnuchkov, between Voicedate and Fridaymates is the voice dates and the “Friday movement”.
The development of the application lasted 13 months: it contains six services with which you can create relationships based on goals, interests and hobbies.
Now the application is available for download in three markets Playmarket, RuStore, AppGallery. Plans for next week post it on the App Store.
The American company Match Group, specializing in dating services, including Tinder, has announced its withdrawal from Russia until June 30. After that, several companies immediately announced the creation of a Russian alternative to Tinder:
- In February, the Sunlight jewelry chain announced plans to launch a dating service combining Tinder and TikTok. The platform cost Sunlight 120 million rubles, which included the salaries of Sunlight Play developers, and not just the dating service.
- VK has released a beta version of the standalone application “VK Dating” for Android. Users will be able to communicate not only within VKontakte, but also in a separate application.
- In mid-June, the Twinby dating app, created based on the results of scientific research of the Higher School of Economics of the National Research University, entered the online dating market in Russia and the CIS countries.
