The actor explains that when the first movie was released, humanity only touched on the topic of artificial intelligence. Talking about the fear surrounding artificial intelligence today, Schwarzenegger said, “In Terminator, we talked about machines becoming self-aware and taking control.”
Now, decades later, “it’s come true,” says the Hollywood star. “This is no longer science fiction or futuristic. We see it here and now.”
Schwarzenegger also praised Cameron as an outstanding screenwriter and director, and praised him for creating the iconic character terminator himself.
