Spain could become the first country in the world to introduce an unconditional 20,000 euros youth allowance. The proposal comes from Yolandia Dias, the current Minister of Labor of the Country, which claims to be the Prime Minister of the country. It has already gained episodic frequency in lytic circles. Its main feature is that money can only be spent on tuition fees and starting your own business.

The announced measures ensure that all Spaniards receive a “universal payment” for 18 years over a period of five years. This financial assistance will allow them to stand firmly on their feet, getting a profession in demand or starting their own business. In addition, the impact of applicants for all kinds of administrative assistance in vocational training and organization of entrepreneurial activity is expected.

The idea itself seems fantastic, but, according to Diaz, it is quite feasible. Preliminary estimates put the Diaz initiative at least 10 billion euros in funding, which is 0.8% of Spain’s GDP. It will be carried out by levying increased taxes on citizens whose income exceeds 3 million and God.
