Visitors to bars, restaurants, beauty salons and other establishments may leave non-cash tips; Otkritie Bank has introduced such a service, the bank’s press service said.
Users of the Otkritie acquisition can set up a new feature for free. Restaurant guests will be able to thank the waiter without having to enter card numbers or additional links.
The size of the tip is determined by the guest himself, the specified amount is immediately credited to the employee’s account.
To connect to the new service, acquiring users only need to submit the corresponding application to the bank and obtain a free equipment configuration. After that, the card numbers of the employees to whom the tips will be received are entered into the system.
According to Vitaly Brikunov, director of Otkritie’s procurement department, the service will help companies increase staff loyalty at no additional cost.
As the study showed above, 72% of Russians leave tips to waiters in bars and restaurants.
