Until the end of 2023, Yandex.Market plans to attract approximately 1,000 sellers from EAEU countries, China, Turkey, and South Korea. The companies will mainly sell electronics, clothing, shoes and household items on the site.
Yandex.Market, in turn, will control the originality of the offered products. This was reported to Vedomosti by a service representative.
The site’s transportation partners will deliver the goods. Payments will be made in the currency of the seller’s country, less all costs.
The market will have to compete with similar projects from Ozon and Wildberries. At the same time, the share of foreign sales in the largest markets is negligible, experts say.
