The device was created by the Information Security Center, a member of the Trusted Platform association. According to Oleg Vasilenko, senior engineer of the development group, the Dozvon IP phone is designed to protect organizations conducting confidential conversations from possible eavesdropping.
The phone has vibroacoustic protection mechanisms that prevent the room from eavesdropping while talking on the phone. Picking up the handset deactivates the protection and allows you to continue a private conversation. A special indicator “Dial” on the phone indicates the inclusion of eavesdropping protection.
Vasilenko noted that the development has already received a certificate from the Federal Technical and Export Control Service of the Russian Federation (FSTEC).
