This Tuesday (12), Apple continues its annual tradition and announced a new series of mobile phones – the iPhone 15. As in recent years, the company has directed some of the models in the family to special and more demanding use and thus, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The segment has all the features and solutions of the standard model, but differentiates itself with a number of new features. Starting from the appearance, both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max feature a new titanium-based case that guarantees lower weight as well as elegance. On the sides is the new Action Button, which replaces the classic Mute Button and can be customized with a variety of shortcuts.
However, the main feature that stands out in the appearance of the iPhone 15 Pro is the Super Retina XDR display in Oled, which still supports the fluidity of Pro Motion technology. In addition, both models have certified brightness with Extreme Dynamic Range, as well as the convenience of Always On and StandBy features. In short, it is an excellent screen with deep contrasts and a high frame refresh rate, far from Tim Cook’s terminology.
Coming back, there is a cutout on the screen that houses the Dynamic Island, making the infamous “notch” since the last iPhone 14 more practical. Finally, in terms of size, the iPhone 15 Pro offers a 6.1-inch display, while the visual area of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is 6.7”.
Even more cinematic cameras
The fact that the main sensor on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is 48 MP guarantees the new resolution standard with 24 MP. In this module, users will be able to take photos at three focal lengths: 24 mm, 28 mm and 35 mm, thus providing an even more cinematic framing.
Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro retains support for 3X telescopic zoom, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max reaches 5X zoom at 120mm, a first for an Apple mobile phone. As always, there are also significant improvements to low-light capture systems and HDR settings.
