How to make friends with Shazam and Y.Music to quickly add a recognized track to your collection

Personally, I listen to music all the time and often discover new artists and tracks using the song recognition feature on my iPhone. But by default, the “shazamed” track can only be opened in Apple Music.

In order not to go to the Ya.Music application and not to enter the name and artist into the search text manually, we suggest using a cyclic command that does everything for you. All you have to do is add the track to your Yandex music collection.

How to make friends with Shazam and Ya.Music

This will primarily be useful to those who listen to music in the Ya.Music application. Accordingly, this application must be created on your iPhone. You can download it for free from the App Store using this link.

And then:

1. Install the Teams app from the App Store on your iPhone and download this command here.

2. Launch music recognition and wait for the iPhone to display information about the playing track. Click on the active window and look at the recognized track page.

3. Click on the “share” icon in the upper right corner.

4. Scroll the menu that appears to the very bottom and click on the line “Yandex Music”.

After this, the Ya.Music application will open on the screen with the track already written in the search bar and found, which was just recognized in Shazam.

Now you can easily “shazam” tracks and quickly add them to your playlist in the Ya.Music app. It’s very convenient, use it.
