Apple introduced the Apple Pencil with USB-C. The new connector replaces the Lightning port that was the first on the Apple Pencil.
USB-C itself is hidden at the top of the stylus. It can be accessed by sliding back the latch labeled Pencil.
The new Apple Pencil looks similar to the 2nd generation stylus, but the functionality is similar. Apple Pencil with USB-C can’t sense touch pressure, and it doesn’t have dual-tap support for changing brushes.
There is no wireless charging, but there are magnets for attaching to the iPad.
The new Apple Pencil costs $79 or 7,700 rubles. The first deliveries are expected in early November. Apple also left the Apple Pencil with Lightning on sale; it costs $20 more.
