The Central Bank approved a list of credit institutions of systemic importance. Like last year, the largest Russian banks participated. In total, the list includes 13 companies: Sberbank, Alfa Bank, VTB and others.
The Bank of Russia has published a list of systemically important credit institutions. A complete list of such organizations is provided on the Bank of Russia website.
All organizations included in the list are the largest Russian banks. They have been on this list for two years now. These are UniCredit Bank, Sovcombank, VTB, Alfa Bank, Sberbank, Moscow Credit Bank, FC Otkritie, Rosbank, Tinkoff Bank, Promsvyazbank, Raiffeisenbank and Rosselkhozbank.
The list includes organizations whose work is most important in keeping the banking system functioning. According to data from the Central Bank, the participants on the list account for 78% of the total assets of the Russian banking sector.
The last time the Central Bank updated the list of systemically important banks was in 2021. Then Tinkoff Bank was included in it.
