The tool, named Adelaide after the wife of Forbes’ founder, offers readers a personalized search experience, recommends articles based on their queries, and provides concise answers to questions posed within the magazine’s coverage areas.
Adelaide has been trained in Forbes’ articles covering news and stories from the last 12 months.
Vadim Supitsky, Forbes’ chief digital and information officer, stated that the goal of creating the tool was to increase reader engagement in searching for information and interacting with articles.
Users can ask specific questions or general topics to get article suggestions and short answers to their questions. For example, “Who is the richest person in Nebraska?” When asked, Adelaide will provide a summary of Warren Buffett and show relevant articles that might be of interest to the user.
