Lamoda has implemented Hybrid Stock Availability (Hybrid Depth), which allows managing a partner’s assortment according to different product shipping models, the online platform said in a statement. This allows for continuous sales on the platform.
The functionality combines identical items from different cards into one, which takes into account the availability of goods simultaneously in the Lamoda warehouse and in the partner’s warehouse.
Thus, if a product is out of stock in one of the warehouses, the customer can receive it in another warehouse, without delays in shipping. The platform notes that this increases both the platform’s opportunities for sellers and the availability of products for Lamoda buyers.
The update correctly displays assortments across all operating models and allows brands to manage traffic and sales. It is possible to sell continuously on the platform.
The first partners to connect to the new functionality were Baon, Tamaris, Pepe Jeans London kids, s.Oliver kids and BNS Group.
Previously, Lamoda began testing a new cross-docking model to work with sellers: Lamoda FBS (Fulfillment by Seller), within which brands can sell items from their warehouse and use Lamoda logistics to deliver the merchandise to the customer.
