Researchers at the University of Stavinger in the US have converted the university’s gas-fired CHP plant to run on hydrogen instead of gas. It turns out 100% pure hydrogen, without any impurities. According to Professor Mohsen Asadi, this is the first achievement in the world.

The turbine of the power plant has been running on hydrogen for about a month, which makes it possible to evaluate its efficiency. It is clearly lower than it was in the days of the use of the ball.

! The upgrade was cheap, and you can probably keep the upgraded kits going. The downside is that it’s a very high cost. On the other hand, the university is now spared the loss of the carbon tax emissions.
