As the employment landscape changes, 75% of employees are already preparing for the results, aware of the inevitable need for technological know-how. There is a pressing need: 57% of employees are actively improving their skills to stay one step ahead.

Hiring decision-makers are increasingly prioritizing technical skills when evaluating candidates. The top technical skills employers are looking for include IT (39%), artificial intelligence (29%) and cybersecurity (28%).

Technical knowledge and skills (63%) top the list of keywords senior managers look for when interviewing job candidates. This is followed by communications (49%) and project management (43%)
