6. Why the new iOS 17.3 “Stolen Device Protection” feature is dangerous

The first beta version of iOS 17.3 introduced a new feature: Stolen Device Protection. This mode is enabled both during the initial setup of the iPhone and after updating the firmware. Apple listened to many years of requests from security experts – and added this protection tool to iOS, in addition to the already existing Lockdown mode.

But there is one thing in the mode that is worth keeping in mind before activating it: in unforeseen circumstances, you will lose some of the data on the device and lose access to a number of key functions, even if you did not lose your iPhone. 📍 The characteristics and design of the Samsung Galaxy S24 were revealed a month before the presentation.

There will be three models in total: Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra.

The S24 will have a 6.2-inch screen, the S24+ will have a 6.7-inch screen, and the S24 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch screen. All displays are made using AMOLED technology with a maximum brightness of 2600 nits.
