A plane taking off from Portland International Airport encountered an emergency shortly after takeoff when one of its doors opened due to an explosive loss of pressure in the air, causing an emergency landing in Oregon.

Among the consequences of this incident was the discovery of an iPhone believed to have fallen from the plane.

The device was discovered by Seanathan Bates. The find was operational, airplane mode was active, and the battery was half charged. The Alaska Airlines baggage document page was open on the phone screen.

The iPhone model has not been officially confirmed yet, but it is estimated that it may be the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro. Despite the unusual conditions, the device appeared to be in good condition and was not damaged by the fall.
