If for some reason you’re looking for an alternative to Google’s search engine, The Browser Company, the makers of the Arc browser, has launched Arc search. This new application promises to improve search results by using artificial intelligence and preventing us from clicking on all existing and future links to create a website for us and thus find what we were really looking for.
Arc Search is not a browser per se, although it is a standalone application. In fact, it is also not a typical search engine, since uses Google technology to return results. It’s more like the Google app, but much more simplified. The app, developed by The Browser Company, does not have a page that shows popular search results or is based on what we have searched for previously; It only has a search engine, which works very simply.
We just need to type into the text field what we want to find – for example, when the iPad Pro with the M3 chip will be released – to find what we’re looking for. When you press the “Go” button that appears on your keyboard, Arc Search will show a list of results in the Google search engine, as if we were exiting Chrome. However, The Browser Company has a special feature that makes searching much easier.
When you enter text, Arc Search displays a button called “Look for me‘, which, as the name suggests, allows you to find what you’re looking for without having to do it. The application, in particular, read up to six web pages for youcreates a website by collating the information on every page you access and produces a summary of the most important things so you just have to read it without clicking on every link.
Arc Search builds a website for you by summarizing search results.

Using the example of a search about when an iPad Pro with an M3 chip will be released, when clicking on the “Find me” button, Arc Search read six articles from various sites that covered news about the possible launch of the model: including Hypertext. After, created a small page summing up the launch date, the event at which these models could be announced, and the most notable new feature: the inclusion of the M3 chip.
Arc Search also offers links to the most popular results, as well as other types of information of interest, such as possible iPad Pro specifications. Of course, this type of search can be applied to any other query. If we search for when Taylor Swift’s tour resumes, for example, the app will also create a website for you with the results found.
Searching for the arc, yeah not always right. In some cases, it tends to return results that, although real, are not correct, accurate, or consistent with what we are looking for. Using Taylor Swift’s return to the stage as an example, Arc Search showed results detailing that the singer would resume her tour on October 18, 2024. This is indeed the case as the artist will return with Eras The United States tour will begin on this day, but the exact result will be that the tour will resume on February 7 in Tokyo, Japan.
However, Arc Finder can be especially useful forto find results about events or various events without having to manually navigate through different websites. For example, we can ask when the Oscars are and Arc Search will tell us what day it will start, where it will air, who is nominated, etc.
We reiterate that Arc Search operates as a standalone application for Arc, The Browser Company’s browser, and is currently only available on the App Store.
