Astrocytes introduced an element of dynamic information processing into the neuromorphic AI model, similar to the function of the human brain. Scientists claim that this approach makes it possible to effectively control the dynamics of neurons and implement working memory in artificial intelligence.

Susanna Gordleyeva, Professor of the Department of Neurotechnology at Lobachevsky University, states that this technology can help create intelligent computing platforms for data processing using the principles of brain function. Neuromorphic software platforms will be used in medicine and the IT industry to process and classify data, as well as create virtual models of the nervous system.
