Ozon (GMV) sales volume, including services, in 2023 increased by almost 110% (or 2.1 times) compared to 2022 and exceeded 1.7 trillion rubles, according to market materials.
Sales to entrepreneurs reached 83% of total turnover. The business was reportedly growing faster than the previously announced forecast of 90-100%.
The number of orders in 2023 exceeded 950 million, double that of 2022. This result was achieved by increasing the frequency of purchases per customer and growing the customer base. Thus, one Ozon customer accounted for more than 20 orders (a 1.6-fold increase until 2022).
Over the past three years, customers have started ordering on the site four times more often; The company attributes this result to investments in infrastructure in the regions, the expansion of the range and the maintenance of prices. The number of active buyers increased by almost a third during the year and amounted to 46 million people.
Ozon materials also indicate that the company received positive adjusted EBITDA for 2023, although the absolute value is not disclosed.

Cash and cash equivalents as of December 31, 2023 reached 169.8 billion rubles, as of September 30, 92.7 billion rubles.
