Alexei Navalny died in prison: what is known about the death of the politician

At approximately 14:00 Moscow time, the Federal Penitentiary Service published a message about the death of Alexei Navalny (Rosfinmonitoring included him in the list of persons involved in terrorism and extremism) in the correctional colony number 3 of the Yamalo Autonomous Okrug -Nenets. According to the service, Navalny felt unwell after the walk and lost consciousness.

Several public figures suggested that the cause of the blood clot (if this version is confirmed) could have been Navalny’s long stay in the punishment cell.
