Nelson noted that Elon Musk said during the presentation of the Tesla Cybertruck concept in 2019 that the car would be made of high-quality, durable steel that would not be penetrated by 9-gauge bullets.

The blogger first used a Glock 19 with a flamethrower and 9-gauge bullets manufactured by Musk’s The Boring Company. The flamethrower did not damage the vehicle, but Nelson then fired into the door of the pickup truck, which was about 10 feet away. It turned out that Musk was not deceived: the bullets did not enter the body, only dents remained.

The .22 caliber bullets also did not cause any damage to the pickup bed. But then Nelson picked up a 17 caliber. Bullets of this caliber entered the door from the outside but remained inside.

An AR-15 semi-automatic rifle followed, piercing the door. Nelson was the last person to use a sniper rifle chambered for .50 caliber ammunition. The rifle penetrated through the door, leaving large holes and damaging the cables.
