OnePlus Open, which launched alongside the Pixel 8 series and Google’s Android 14 in October 2023, seemed to be a prime candidate for the update. But users had to wait until now. OnePlus released Android 14 in limited quantities for its foldable phone in January.

The 2.54 GB update brings many new features to OnePlus Open. These include:

  • File Dock: This feature simplifies file sharing by allowing users to drag and drop content between apps and devices.

  • Smart Crop: Highlight the subject of a photo or video with Smart Crop.

  • Improved performance and most importantly security features.
