After investigating, Smith discovered several red flags. Photos of lawyers on Commonwealth Legal’s website looked unreal, and an image search revealed they were taken by a service that generates fictitious people using artificial intelligence. The legal address listed was a one-story building and both phone numbers were disconnected. No lawyer with this name could be found in online search engines.

It is still unknown what happened, but the owner of the tech4gods website claims that he has no connection to this scam.
