Piper Sandler conducted a survey of more than 6,000 teenagers on the topic of gadget use in the United States.
According to the data obtained, 85% of respondents use an iPhone, and 86% of teenagers plan to buy an iPhone as their next smartphone. These numbers are slightly lower than in 2023, when 87% owned an iPhone and 88% were considering purchasing one.
Additionally, 34% (of the 39.4% of smartwatch owners) of teens own an Apple Watch, and 13% accidentally buy one. The second and third places were limited to Rolex and Casio.
Among the service services, Spotify leads (about 66%). Apple Music accounted for only 30%. Less than 5% of teens receive Apple TV+, with Netflix (30%) and YouTube (30%) leading the way.
