According to them, the decision is being finalized and could be taken as early as this month. Kaspersky Lab may be prohibited from providing certain products and services in the United States.
The purpose of the ban is to reduce any risk to the state’s critical infrastructure. A Kaspersky Lab representative did not respond to the channel’s question about the company’s participation in the US market.
In 2017, Donald Trump signed a law banning the use of Kaspersky Lab products by the US government. This prohibition is part of the Defense Contracting Act and applies to both civilian and military departments.
