This is a roadmap that will determine the standards for data storage and protection and will allow the effectiveness of companies’ information security systems to be evaluated.

To comply with the new standard, companies must undergo an independent audit at least once a year.

It will be carried out by expert groups from companies licensed to protect confidential information.

What will be evaluated:

  • organization and management of data protection,
  • information protection policy,
  • threat response plan,
  • how companies identify vulnerabilities,
  • how companies respond to emergency situations and prepare staff.

In addition to the four companies that signed the new standard, ABD members include VK, Sberbank, Gazprombank, Rosselkhozbank, Megafon, Rostelecom, MTS, VTB and the Center for Strategic Research.
