Podpah is helping live with artists to raise funds for RS; see how I can help

The Podpah podcast broadcast a special live broadcast this Tuesday (07) to raise funds that will be allocated to help those affected by the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.

The broadcast will include shows by artists such as Fresno, Emicida, Seu Jorge, Rashid, Dinho Ouro Preto, Esteban Tavares, Júnior Lima, Pitty, Derek, Lucas Inutilismo.

Heavy rains have been experienced in the state of Rio Grande do Sul for about 10 days, and this has caused floods in more than 360 municipalities, including the capital Porto Alegre.

As of this afternoon, authorities had reported at least 83 people dead and more than 110 people missing.

Moreover, hundreds of people were injured and thousands were displaced in what is considered the worst climate crisis in the region.

The state also experienced famine as thousands of people were left without electricity, food and water.

Podpah’s live “SOS Rio Grande do Sul” will be broadcast on the channel’s YouTube starting at 14:00 (Brasília time).

“This money goes entirely to non-governmental actions aimed at mitigating the effects of the tragedy plaguing Rio Grande do Sul,” singer Lucas Silveira said.
