It is also claimed that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will receive a smaller Dynamic Island, thanks to the new metalens technology for the proximity sensor, which will reduce the size of the Face ID module.
In terms of specifications, the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Slim will come with 8GB of RAM and an A18 or A19 chip, while the Pro and Pro Max models will come with 12GB of RAM and an upgraded A19 Pro chip.
All four models will feature 24-megapixel front cameras, which is a significant improvement over the current 12-megapixel cameras on Apple smartphones.
