This development, based on a burner and a special chemical composition created by NSU professor Sergei Sukhinin, allows effective removal of deposits inside pipes without damaging them. The press service noted that experts from the NSU Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization have developed a detailed procedure for implementing this method.

Heavy oil deposits in pipes are a serious problem for oil production companies and often lead to complete blockage of wells and a halt in oil production. Standard methods require stopping the well, removing the pipes, cleaning them, and then installing the equipment.
