The FBI said “more” people are using deepfakes in job interviews.

The agency did not report finding cases, but noted that an increase in deepfakes was identified after many companies entered the fact that they were removed.

As a rule, people used a video from another person that does not belong to them. In the latter case, deepfakes are calculated due to the fact that the movements of the lips are not synchronized with the sound.

Sometimes these checks are revealed in order to impersonate another person during interrogation.

Deepfakes are mostly common in IT companies when interviewing for a position that provides access to sensitive data and financial bases. [Business Insider]
