Yandex introduced the third generation of a lightweight version of its generative neural network – YandexGPT 3 Lite. This was reported by the press service of the technology company.

The new version will be available to Yandex Cloud users via API, the company clarified. They indicated that the neural network would be suitable for large companies with complex business processes. YandexGPT 3 Lite can be used for data analysis, chatbots and other routine tasks.
The updated model has reduced the number of errors; offers six percentage points more correct answers than the previous version of YandexGPT 2 Lite.
“On average, YandexGPT 3 Lite performs better than the previous generation version in 68% of cases,” Yandex noted.
During training, we use curriculum learning technology, which allows us to gradually complicate the data. The company also improved the model for evaluating the quality of responses. Grouped Query Attention technology was added to the architecture, thanks to which data processing is faster.
YandexGPT 3 Lite will replace the previous version next month. You can try it for free in demo mode.
