The regulator’s press service reported a massive increase in fraudulent calls in the networks of Russian telecom operators. To protect their subscribers, operators may implement international call blocking by default.
At the same time, users will have the opportunity to configure the reception of calls: either completely protect themselves from calls from abroad, or receive calls only from contacts on the list. The press service noted that Roskomnadzor is working on the regulatory and legal aspects of this initiative to strengthen customer security measures.
