The research, supported by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation, was published in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials. The modified composites have a 40% improved ability to accumulate electrical charge under mechanical stress, making them promising for regenerative medicine.

Scientists plan to conduct further research on the interaction mechanisms of the polymer coating with its composite components; This could lead to the creation of smart implants and bioelectronic systems that can interact with living cells at the molecular level.
