According to Musk, Tesla is committed to the affordable and feasible production of humanoid robots, so mass production is planned. The production cost should be around 10 thousand dollars. Musk plans to sell the robots for a price between 10-20 thousand dollars. The vehicles will first be offered for rental, and then bulk sales will begin.

At the same time, Tesla plans to literally “fill” its factories with Optimus robots. Musk noted that a thousand to several thousand robots will work in Tesla factories next year.
